This easy to use software upgrades the firmware on your Innoband 8012-G1 modem.

System Requirements:
  • A PC running Microsoft Windows.
  • An Innoband 8012-G1 modem.
    (On the bottom of the modem you will find a sticker showing model number 8012-G1)

Click the Download button above to download the firmware upgrade program and save it to your Windows Desktop.

Disconnect all wireless routers or other network equipment from your computer.

Connect your PC directly to your Innoband modem.

Turn the modem's power on.

Next to the power cable connection on the back of the modem is a RESET hole. Insert a pin or straightened paperclip hole and hold the button inside down until the lights on the front of the modem flash, then turn off. This will take about 10 seconds.

Double-click the file you just downloaded (8012G1_UpdateFw_3.1.3.2.68.exe) to begin upgrading the firmware on your modem. From this point on, DO NOT turn off your computer or modem until the upgrade has completed.

A WinZip self-extraction window will open. Click OK.

Click Unzip on the next window, which asks you to select a destination folder. The program will run automatically, so you don't need to select a folder to save it to.

The WinZip success window will appear. Click OK

The firmware upgrade program will run automatically, and you'll see the Update Firmware window. Click Update

The firmware upgrade will begin and you'll see the following message:

When the upgrade has finished, you'll see the following window:

Your firmware has now been upgraded. To exit the window above, click OK
